ADELE ETHERIDGE WOODSON
Adele Etheridge Woodson is an award-winning, classically trained film and visual media composer. Her strengths as a film composer include versatility and creativity in blending music genres. She notably scored Pant Hoot, a documentary featuring Dr. Jane Goodall, and won the prestigious 2023 Horizon Award from the International Sound and Film Music Festival for her score for the dramatic film Bird of Paradise.
Adele's compositional work also spans original dance shows and interactive sound installations. Her concert premieres have taken place in major cultural hubs such as Vienna, New York City, Phoenix, Austin, and Nashville. She released a post-classical, ambient EP titled Jude Street in 2024, and often creates original bite-sized music to showcase on her social media channels.
Beyond her own compositions, Adele has contributed to the music departments of several major studio productions. Most recently, she assisted Oscar-winning composer Chris Benstead and recorded violin parts for Apple TV and Sky projects. She also arranges, orchestrates, and produces for artists worldwide, including BAFTA-nominated composer Ilan Eshkeri.
Adele currently resides in London, England. She is an active member of BAFTA, the Alliance for Women Film Composers, Women in Film and TV UK, and the Society of Composers and Lyricists. She is represented by 515 Talent.
